What I’m Up To!

Life has taken on a whole new level of busy for me. With this comes a time of great adaptation and growth, not always painless but important none-the-less.  So with growing pains, I’m still reaching for the best that life has to offer and working to make better if it’s not being offered!

I work part-time for WEGO Health, a website for health activists, as a Community Leader. I love it. I love writing, I love speaking up about important issues. I love contributing! I am proud to call myself a Health Activist and a member of the WEGO Health team.

I am also now employed by HealthyPlace.com as a blogger (my blog there is titled Depression Diaries) and also as a producer. As a producer I am in charge of selecting guests and developing the topics for the web-based mental health radio and TV shows on the site. It is a new and very exciting opportunity.

My life online is busy and full of blessings, the Mental Health and Social Media chat  (#mhsm) that I began on Twitter is going well and growing. It’s with the amazing help of my friend Cindy (@NAMIMass) that the chat has continued as I have been unable to moderate the chat for some time now due to the demands and constraints that I am currently facing.

With a recent move under my belt and a kind of fresh start for me and my kids here this Summer, I look forward to sharing and living the beautiful life that is always available to us, often times just a single choice away!

  1. Good for you and kuddos for getting involved despite fibromyalgia. It will be tough for sure, but certainly a worthwhile cause. I lost my 1st husband to suicide just over 10 yrs ago so I know how awful it can truly be. My children and I were destroyed by it and if one family can be spared that pain, well, it would be awesome!

I wish you the very best with this endeavour. You will be in my thoughts and certainly my prayers that the fibro pain stays at bay for your participation!

    Take care,
    Jeannette

  2. “I feel limitless, rather than defined by all of the limits I previously felt were put on me.”

I love that line, and I’m so happy for you :)

  3. Amy,
